Mountain Biking Mountain biking has become one of Vail's most popular summer outdoor activities. You can rent a variety of bike types at Vail Sports (a rental shop located adjacent to the hotel). Take a leisurely ride along the Eagle River on the bike path, or, ride the Vista Bahn Chair or the gondola up the hill with your bike, and enjoy a scenic ride down one of the many trails, from groomed beginner to technical singletrack. Tennis The Vail Tennis Center offers a slice of heaven: eight Har-Tru clay courts and four hard courts with the Gore Range as a stunning backdrop. Open dawn to dusk Memorial Day weekend through September 30, the Tennis Center includes a full-service pro shop that rents racquets and courts, offers private lessons and provides clinics for all ages.
