Mountain Terrain/Lift Opening & Closing Schedule Vail Mountain is scheduled to open November 21, 2008. The back bowls are scheduled to open the week of December 9, 2008 and Blue Sky Basin is scheduled to open the week of December 16, 2008. Vail mountain's scheduled closing date is April 19, 2009.
